Painting serves as a space for memory, emotion, and transformation within my practice. Through layered imagery and symbolic forms, I explore themes of migration, belonging, and identity as experiences in constant motion. I am drawn to the tension between presence and absence, using paint to navigate emotional landscapes shaped by displacement, memory, and reinvention.
Animals and symbolic imagery appear as stand-ins for internal experiences, existing between the personal and universal. My paintings become spaces where memory shifts, fragments, and reforms.
