Gabrielly Krystine De Oliveira Tavares is a Brazilian-born artist based in NYC. Her multidisciplinary practice—spanning oil painting, ceramics, and digital media—explores identity, belonging, and transformation through the lens of her immigration experience. Using animals and vessels as symbolic forms, her work reflects themes of memory and cultural displacement.

She has received recognition, including First Place in 3D Design and Sculpting at Suffolk County Community College’s Art Show, and has worked as a Studio Manager and Instructor at Studio Barro. Gabrielly also completed an internship at a clay studio in the Hamptons, further developing her technical and studio practice. She is currently pursuing a BFA in ceramics at Queens College while developing a community-focused cooperative studio space.
